5 Of The Most Precious Diamonds Out There!

As you know diamonds nowadays are very scarce, and somewhat misconceived once discovered. Depending on diamonds natural elements, four main factors all tie in to portray the precious stone’s natural value. Throughout history, Natural diamonds have been discovered in more than 35 countries. After doing the statistics, the U.S. Geological Survey states that most of the known natural diamond reserves are located in Congo, Botswana, Australia, and South Africa. The Congo has the highest number of diamond reserves and is presently the leading manufacturer of all natural diamonds. Among all of the diamond producing countries, at least 15 also have the technology to produce synthetic diamonds, and the ability to generate different types of cuts, and shapes of all stones. In addition to being sold commercially as gemstones for jewelry, diamonds are also used in the mining and production industries as drill bits for machinery. According to the USGS, world industrial diamond reserves are estimated to be about 580 million carats as a whole!

I came across five of the most expensive diamonds in the world, two of which are priceless due to their scarcity. For thousands of years, diamonds are, and always have been around us, or beneath us. A Diamond is one of the most wanted mining products. You can be rich instantly if you found a big and rare diamond in the backyard of your house, and the best part about it is that there is always that possibility. At stone number one we have the De Beers Centenary Diamond which is classified as D levels by the Gemological Institute of America. It’s the highest grade of a diamond that is colorless, and internally and externally flawless. The diamond itself is 273.85 carats (54.77 grams) in weight. This diamond is the third largest diamond that has been produced by De Beer’s Premier Mine speculated to be valued in the $100 Millions. At the second stone we have lined up is The hope diamond which is 45.52 carats (9.10 grams) and is located in the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History in Washington DC. The diamond looks blue in color to the naked eye, but don’t be fooled it shines red like phosphor under ultraviolet light and is speculated to be worth in the $350 Millions.

At stone number three we have The Cullinan Diamond which is 3,106,75 carats (621.35 grams) diamond and is the largest rough gem quality diamond ever found in the world. This diamond is speculated to be in the $400 Millions. The last two stones I’m going to mention are priceless, nothing like diamonds you would ever come across in general. At stone number 4 we have The Sancy diamond which is 55.23 carats (11.05 grams) and looks fainted yellow. It is believed that the diamond is Indian origin. This is one of the first of large diamonds to be cut with symmetrical facets. The stone is also unusual because it has no pavilion just a pair of crowns, one on the other. Atlast, the most intriguing diamond of them all is The Koh-I-Noor diamond, meaning mountain of light which from studies show that it is sought out to weigh 105 carats, and measure 36.00 × 31.90 × 13.04 mm. The Koh-I-Noor was originated at Golconda in the Andhra Pradesh state of India. It was owned by major Persian rulers who had fought over this extraordinary stone. Intrigued? If so below are pictures of these precious stones.

The Five Most Noticeable Engagement Rings In History

When shopping for any particular wedding band, or engagement ring consumers aim to flash, and glimmer. An engagement ring symbolizes the love you have for your spouse to be, and let’s spectators around her in on the news as well. One of the most important parts to this judgment is making sure that her ring is perfect for her. With knowledge of specific engagement ring designs, and what you know about your loved one, could all easily influence your final decision in the perfect wedding band, or engagement ring.  I’m going to talk to you about the top five most noticeable engagement rings ever recorded in history till present tense.

In 2005 American music marketer Jordan Bratman had proposed to singer Christina Aguilera, presenting her with a $54,000, 20-Carat Diamond Engagement Ring designed by Stephen Webster.

On October 6th 2004 Brittany Spears had bought herself a $40,000, 4-carat, cushion-cut diamond wedding ring, with a Platinum pave setting before her wedding with Kevin Federline.  On June 15th 2005 Paris Hilton was greeted with not just one, but a pair of diamond engagement rings from billionaire Paris Latsis, a $5 million, 24-carat, canary diamond ring as a representation of an “I Love You” wedding ring, along with a $2.1 million, 15-carat, white diamond ring. (Since they never got married, I wonder if she gave the rings back. Somehow, I highly doubt it.)

Moving along brings us down to the royal wedding hosted by Lieutenant Philip Mountbatten (son of Prince Andrew of Greece and great-great-grandson of Queen Victoria) and Britain's Princess Elizabeth (now Queen Elizabeth II) and were wed in Westminster Abbey on November 20, 1947. Prince Philip had a unique idea in mind, he had gathered diamonds taken from a tiara that had belonged to his mother, and set them along a platinum band which was made from a nugget of Welsh gold, a family tradition. As a result Princess Elizabeth's engagement ring was of royal and sentimental value. Lastly at the most noticeable wedding ring we have famous actor Michael Douglas who had granted famous actress Catherine Zeta-Jones’ with a 10-carat, antique marquise diamond estimated at almost $2 million.

What better way to enter a woman’s heart then with Diamonds, Platinum, and Gold. Making decisions that involve engagement rings can’t be made over night. It requires a lot of thought, and hard work to be put in. If put in right, will work hand in hand with the outcome

But money in some cases is not an issue for the fortunate. They spend millions of dollars on luxurious, and extravagant weddings, just to dazzle. When all is done involving the organization as a whole, comes the fateful I do – although for most of them, marriage doesn't last long. Many extravagant weddings like these are recorded in history. Which Worldly Country Is The Biggest Supplier Of Diamonds. Do You Know?

Have you ever wondered the true nature of a diamond? I’m about to go
in to a couple of articles I stumbled upon and make you an expert.
Diamonds, like us as individuals can come in a variety of shapes,
sizes, forms, and most importantly colors. A diamond till this day, is
indomitable, and full of surprises. Formed in the
Earth’s interior and shot up to the surface by astonishing volcanoes,
these dazzling natural creations created off by nature are both
structurally durable and brilliant in appearance. A natural diamond is
approximated to be 3 billion years in age, after doing the
mathematical configurations, this most likely will be the oldest thing
you will ever own.

In another article I was amazed to cross paths with the top five
largest Diamond Mines in the world we know of today. At number one,
Russia where the Mirna Mine is held is known as one of the largest
diamond deposits in Russia. At number two, Australia where the Argyle
Diamond Mine is located is known as the largest producer in the world.
At number three, Botswana where the Jwaneng Diamond Mine is located is
known as the richest diamond mine in the world. The last two largest
diamond mines are both located in Angola, where the second to last
largest diamond mine is located known as Kimberlite Pipe. Lastly we
resign at the fifth major diamond mine known as the Catoca diamond
mine.

Depending on a diamond’s cut, clarity, color, and carat could all
determine how much of a jaw drop your fiancé will grant you. Keep
these pointers in mind when shopping and searching for the perfect
diamond for your special someone, after all, as research has shown,
diamonds are truly timeless and exquisite.

See What Celebs Like Olivia Wilde & Brandy Norwood Are Rockin!

I had just read an article about star Brandy Norwood which struck my attention, at the end of December Singer Brandy Norwood (33) had tweeted a photo showing off her new circular cut Wedding Band. On New Year’s Eve as 2013 had kicked in, the two were married. Performer/Singer Brandy had tied the knot at Lavo Night Club, located in Las Vegas on January 2nd with Ryan Press Music Executive (34). Being that this was going to be Brandy’s first actual wedding, it was necessary to be exhilarating, and more importantly a perfect engagement/wedding for the famous celeb. Let’s just say Brandy had a lot more sparkle to add to her outfit this New Years.

In a similar sense, Olivia Wild (28) was spotted by photographers in the heart of Rome for the shooting of her new and upcoming movie “The Third Person”. It wasn’t Olivia, but her shining stone cold stunner which had caught the attention/eyes of not only the residents, but tourists around her. Her brilliant cut antique engagement ring which was proposed to her by Horrible Bosses movie star, and now fiancĂ© Jason Sudeikis (37).

In both cases, the two female celebrities were wooed over by jaw dropping engagement rings from their spouse(s). I grew up watching, and becoming a huge fan of these actresses and it amazes me where, and how they would all end up. If you could put yourself in their shoes what would you present your other half with, along with the type of setting in which you decide to pop the question in, or vice versa.
